Since launching our Regimental Collection in 2013, Corgi has taken great pride in making an annual cheque presentation to Veterans’ mental health charity Combat Stress for funds raised through sales of the socks through our website.
And, this May we are delighted to be presenting the Charity with a cheque for £1000, as raised over the past year.
The Regimental Collection is an exclusive range of socks produced in close association with HRH The Prince of Wales. It includes nine sock designs, each one depicting the unique stripe and colours of one of the regiments or battalions of which the Prince is Colonel or Colonel-in-Chief.
For every pair of socks sold from the Collection a donation of £1 is made to Combat Stress to support their invaluable work in providing clinical treatment and welfare support to Veterans who suffer from psychological wounds.
The charity was chosen due to its close connection with HRH The Prince of Wales, who is its Patron.
On the most recent donation, Garry Burns, Corporate Partnership and Sponsorship Manager at Combat Stress, said: “On behalf of Combat Stress I would like to offer my sincere thanks to Corgi Hosiery for their continued generosity and support. Their donation will help us to continue delivering our specialist treatment and practical support to thousands of veterans across the UK with mental health issues. With the right support ex-servicemen and women can lead a fulfilling life after service.”
The Regimental Collection is available for purchase through our website.
